DINNER AND A SHOW FOR $25.00

We are fortunate to live in an area where there is so much to see and do. Only 45 miles west of Cheyenne is the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site. This site features a restored 19th-century prison, rotating exhibits, a country church, ranch, re-created frontier town, special events and a dinner theater. The 1872 Wyoming Territorial Prison is the only prison in which outlaw Butch Cassidy was incarcerated. The Horse Barn Dinner Theatre features summer theater and a chuckwagon style meal.

September (Fridays and Saturdays) "Annie of the West" an original musical by Susan Shumway will be presented in the Horse Barn Dinner Theater. "Annie" is a delightful family story about a young girl and a band of orphan children finding their way in the American West. Reservations required, 307-745-6161. Doors open at 6, dinner served at 6:30, show starts at 7. The main course, served chuck wagon style, is a choice of either BBQ ribs or fried chicken with baked potato, corn on the cob and desert provided by Jack Tucker Catering. Tickets for adults $25, children, $20. $2 off each ticket for groups of 25 or more. Doesn’t that sound good? And at $25 it is a terrific value. Where else can you get dinner and show for that price?
