UMM, UMM, GOOD!

There is something about picking up a fresh tomato, strawberry or herb knowing this is "home grown" that makes your mouth water. Here is the opportunity to do just that.

The Wyoming Fresh Market is an open-air farmers’ market, promoting Wyoming and regional farm products. The market is a growers and producers only market. No product resale is allowed. While the average farm product travels thousands of miles to reach the consumer, Wyoming Fresh Market specializes in bringing the freshest, locally produced foods and farm products to our local residents. In 2005, 88% of the Wyoming Fresh vendors and products were from Wyoming. The remaining vendors and their products came from Colorado Products featured at the Wyoming Fresh Market have included: locally-raised fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, grass-fed beef and bison, free-range poultry, mushrooms, and cut flowers, Colorado tree fruits, locally produced breads, jams, and honey, locally roasted coffee, and locally raised bedding and potted plants, including trees, flowers, herbs, and raspberry plants.

Plan to be there at lunchtime as the market also features locally prepared foods. Take some time to check our crafts of local artisans.
